It’s always nice to have three players in double digits. It’s a good way to get a win. And even better for chasing Team of the Week. That is exactly what iGotBoom did this week with a 132-72 win over the Scammers. Lamar Jackson was the game’s top scorer with 29. But DeAndre Smith and Nico Collins each had 22 and 21 respectively. At 3-1, Boom is in first place in the Lombardi division.

Derrick Henry was the Player of the Week. He scored 32 for the Flippin Birds in their 102-91 win over the Marauders. It is the Maruaders first loss of the season. Ironic really, as the Marauders loss and the Ducks loss and the Brown loss mean the 2005 perfect regular season of the Flippin Birds will stand alone for another year.

The Family Feud, or the Hatfields and the McCoys goes to the Renegades this year. But they were damn near kissing cousins after this one. The Renegades beat Multiple Scoregasms 86.8-86.1. It must have been a balanced attack from the Renegades, ‘cause there top scorer was Patrick Mahomes with a rather meager 17 points.

You should let sleeping dogs lie. The Moondogs enter the week 0-3. They were playing the 3-0 Cincinnati Brown. It looked like a mismatch. And it was. But not the way you’d expect. The Moondogs win 129-73. Kenneth Walker III scored 29, the San Fransisco defence added 25 and Dak Prescott had 20.

Dans Destroyers got back to .500 by beating division and long time rival Oky Ducks 108-71. It is the Ducks first loss of the season. Geno Smith scored 25. Jordon Mason had 22. These teams are now second and third in the very competitive Paul Brown division.

The last game of the week saw the Warriors dunk the Great Dismal Swamp Monsters 100-91. Joe Burrow and the Bengals got on track, as Joe posted 22.

SURVIVOR
The Oky Ducks go from undefeated to off of Survivor Island. It can happen that quick in the unforgiving world of fantasy survivor. And it did happen that fast to the Ducks. One moment your just flying along minding your own business, the next your crashing to the ground and in the mouth of a retriever.

BYE WEEKS
Bye weeks are like taxes, we all hate ‘em but we all gotta deal with ‘em. Bye weeks start this weekend and will continue thru the end of the regular season. Ugh.

GAME OF THE WEEK
Two equally good matchups, and I have to pick one. The one I didn’t pick was the Oky Ducks at the Warriors. And that’s just because the Ducks will likely start Justin Fields or Daniel Jones. You just can’t have one of those guys at quarterback in the game of the week.

So I go to the Milford Marauders at Dans Destroyers. Admittedly, Gino Smith is only a slight upgrade from those other QBs, but he is a little better. But Gino, who will take the field for the Destroyers, will have a tough time matchup up with Josh Allen. Despite the fact Allen was a real disappointment in week four.

The running back situation looks good for the Destroyers. Jonathon Taylor and Jordon Mason will each carry the rock for the Destroyers. Alvan Kamara will start for the Marauders, but he’s already had his ridiculous game this year. So slight advantage Destroyers.

In picking the game of the week, it did help that these are two of the league’s three time champions playing. Though I worry that its been so long for the Destroyers, they may not remember.
