There is good and bad to loading up on one team. When they are good, you are unstoppable. When they are not, you suck. Well the Warriors are good right now. The Bengals offense is rolling, and with that defense, they have to keep rolling. It’s a really good situation for a fantasy owner, not so great if you are a Bengals fan.

The Warriors won 1642-94 over the Oky Ducks. The 162 points just narrowly missed making the list of the top ten all time scoring games. Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase teamed up, literally, for a combined 76 points. Burrow was Player of the Week with 45. Chase had 31. The Warriors are now 3-2.

The Scammers got a win, minor miracle there, in the closest game of the week. The Scammers beat two time defending league champion Scoregasms 94-82. I consciously avoid saying the best game of the week as the Scammers were the only team to win with less than one hundred points scored. Jayden Daniels led the was for the Scammers with 23. Scoregasms drop to 1-4 and may be losing the grip on their championship strangle hold.

The better game, though not quite as close, was the Great Dismal Swamp Monsters beat Cincinnati Brown 110-101. This one was close throughout, and was only wrapped up on Monday night. The Swamp Monsters got 28 from Kyler Murray. Brown does hold on to first in the Paul Brown division despite the loss.

There were some pretty good performances this week, and I’m getting the feeling there are haves and have nots in this league. Maybe I feel that way because my team is a have not. But the next three teams were all north of one hundred twenty five points. Tops among them was the Flippin Birds. They beat the Renegades 136-80 (note, Renegades are another have not, don’t think they’ll mind me saying that). Drake London had 21 for the 3-2 Birds.

I Got Boom beat the Kentucky Moondogs 134-103. Lamar Jackson had 43 for Boom. Boom is the top team in the league, the only team at 4-1. It is a tough loss for the Moondogs, who are 1-4 despite scoring one hundred points.

And the last of the three teams I reference is Dans Destroyers. They beat the Milford Marauders 127-82. Gino Smith and Tee Higgins had 24 and 20 respectively. The Destroyers are now 3-2, but because of points scored are showing in third place in the Paul Brown division.

SURVIVOR
The Renegades are this weeks Survivor loser. They weren’t the lowest scoring team in the league, but were the lowest who is not already eliminated.

GAME OF THE WEEK
Week six is important. It is the first of the three all division game weeks. It is almost like the games mean double, because you are guaranteed to pick up a game on two teams in your league.

We are also deep enough into the season that we should start finding some good matchups. The good teams are starting to separate from the, um, well, the other teams.

I’m gonna go to the Vince Lombardi division for Game of the Week. The Warriors will host iGot Boom. Boom is 4-1 and in first place in the division. The Warriors are 3-2 coming off Team of the Week.

The QB matchup is a very good one, one we just saw playout in Cincinnati last week. The Warriors have Joe Burrow, who will look to duplicate his Player of the Week performance. Boom has Lamar Jackson.

This should be a really good game between teams who will compete for the division title, and maybe a league championship at the end of the year.
