HAWK TUA
That may not be a very appropriate title. But how often does Tua Tagovailoa score enough points on a TOW team to get into a highlight. Sometimes you have to play your cards when you have them.
The Destroyers beat the Scammers 136-83 behind Tua Tagovailoa. No, Tua wasn’t POW. But his 36 oints combined with Josh Jacobs 28 and Wil Lutz’s 22 were more than enough to capture a win that probably propels the Destroyers into the playoffs. The Destroyers are now 7-5 while the Scammer drop to 6-6.
Saquon Barkley scored 42 to earn Player of the Week, and pull of a victory I certainly didn’t see coming. Last week, I pegged this as game of the week. Then realized Cincinnati Brown had a ton of players on bye. Well, they still managed a 121-93 victory over the Oky Ducks, and pulled themselves even in the Brown division with the Ducks. Factoring in total points, and Brown is ahead right now.
The best game of the week saw the Warriors hang on to a 110-108 victory over Igot Boom. Boom had Lamar Jackson on Monday night, and he came up just short. Jordan Addison had 22 for the Warriors, who advanced to 8-4. I quick glance at records, and I think the Warriors clinched their division. I’ll check that out in a little bit.
Starring in the role of spoiler, the Kentucky Moondogs beat the Flippin Birds 106-85. Jayden Daniels was game MVP with 38. It is probably too little too late for the Moondogs, who get only their third win of the season. The loss does hurt the Birds who drop to 5-7.
The Renegades stay alive. They beat the Milford Marauders 105-61. Patrick Mahomes score 34 in the victory for the Renegades. The Renegades are another 5-7 team looking for a way to the post season.
Multiple Scoregasms continue to claw their way back for a shot to defend two titles. They beat the Swamp Monsters 98-79. Jamhyr Gibbs had 21. Scoregasms are back to .500.

SECOND CHANCE SURVIVOR
Stands to reason the team that didn’t even realize it was in the second chance survivor is the first team eliminated. The Scammers were the only one of the four teams to not win multiple TOWs. So it is an appropriate elimination this week.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Week thirteen is the last of the all division game weeks. The schedule is written this way to get some first versus second matchups. And this week, we have… exactly none of those. Bah Humbug!
So I’m gonna pick the next best thing, and a long time rivalry. The Oky Ducks, having just lost to another division rival, travel to Dans Destroyers. The Ducks are tied for first with Cincinnati Brown. The Destroyers are coming of a TOW and are just a game back.
Brown hold the points advantage over both teams. About fifty points over the Destroyers, who are second in points scored. Not insurmountable, but a challenge to make up for a tie breaker. That means the Destoyers have to win this game to keep division title hopes alive.
The Oky Ducks on the other hand are more than a hundred points back and not likely to win any tie breakers. So they need this win to sink the Destroyers permanently and hope they can get a game up on Brown. Good races down to the wire.
THANKSGIVING GAMES
Just a reminder, there are more Thursday and probably Friday games than usual this week. Just keep that in mind as you set your lineup.
