The Destroyers are on top again. Two consecutive weeks. Are they peaking at the right time. You realize the Destroyers, the first team to win three championship, have not won, or even been in a Tailgater Bowl since 2010. How long ago was that? Hunter Biden hadn’t yet committed the crimes he was just pardoned for. Gee, thanks dad!

The Destroyers edged out another team for top honors this week. Not in their game. No, they pummeled the Oky Ducks the Oky Ducks 136-77. Anthony Richardson score 29. Think that is the first time I’ve mentioned his name all season. Brock Bowers added 20 more. The Destroyers are locked into a playoff spot, but because of their unfortunate draw in a tough division will have a hard time getting to first.

Jayden Daniels earned Player of the Week honors for the Kentucky Moondogs, scoring 35 points. The Moondogs knocked off iGotBoom 114-87. It is too little too late for the Moondogs who have won two in a row. But a win next week and they will be one of two teams entering next season on a three game winning streak (the other being the league champion).

I don’t want to talk about the closest game. Its too soon. The Swamp Monsters beat the Scammers on Monday night 108-106. Kyler Murray had 21. This was a big game for both teams trying to claw into a playoff spot. These teams are now tied at 6-7 and need one more win this week to feel comfortable.

The team that was edged out for TOW was the Milford Marauders. The beat the Flippin Birds 136-104. Josh Allen had 32 for the Marauders. The large point total puts the Marauders in a good spot to claim the Halas division title this coming week.

The best team in the league, and the team to beat heading into the playoffs is Cincinnati Brown. They beat Multiple Scoregasms 120-96. Another balanced attack, Brown had no players score twenty points. But did have six in double digits. I’ll verify in the playoff preview, but Brown should be getting close to securing the number one seed.

The Warriors dealt the Renegades a damaging blow, with a 92-77 win. Joe Burrow was game MVP with 31. The Warriors have long ago locked up the Lombardi division, and I see writing this now, are still very much in the race for the number one overall seed.

SURVIVOR – SECOND CHANCE
The Warriors were the low scoring team this week and are out of second chance survivor. That leave Brown and Scoregasms to compete for second place next week.

GAME OF THE WEEK
We have one division up for grabs. And the schedule writing (wonder who that is?) nailed it on this one. The George Halas division will come down to the winner of the Swamp Monsters verses the Marauders game.

It is that simple. The Swamp Monsters are a game behind. But they already have a points advantage. Winning will only increase that. And yes, for those of you in the Brown division, where all four teams could end up above .500, 7-7 will win this division if the Swamp Monsters win. Clearly the schedule writer isn’t the same guys who assigns the divisions each year. What a moron.

This is a decent QB matchup. Josh Allen is one of the stars of the league. Kyler Murray is a pretty consistent fantasy performer. Alvan Kamara will be in the backfield with Allen for the Marauders. Bijon Robinson alongside Murray for the Monsters.

An ideal outcome in this game would be a Swamp Monsters 60-55 win, clearing the path for the Scammers to score 125 to defeat the Ducks and steal the division. The Scammers play the Oky Ducks, and there is a rumor around the league that the league commissioner, who monitors all games with a fair and unbiased eye, is looking at pardoning a few of the Oky Duck players this week. Guys like Justin Herbert, Jame Conner, Breece Hall. They’ve all played hard this year, and a pardon in week 14 would give them a week off to rest. All pardons are issued at 12:55 PM on Sunday.

For the record, this is NOT the last pardon joke you will hear this year! You’ve been warned.
