I finally decided what I would I would do to catch the Hall of Fame up after last year. I will do inductions for both 2025 and 2026 so that in years to come the skipped year is not obvious. Today, we will be inducting four NFL Players into the Tailgaters Fantasy Football League Hall of Fame. Two for 2025 and two for 2026. We will also be inducting four NFL Players into the All Time Fantasy Hall of Fame, two for each year.

Tomorrow, if I remember to post them, we will induct two new owners into the Tailgaters Fantasy Football League Hall of Fame, and two of the all time great fantasy teams from the TFFL. In each case, it will be one for each year.

ABOUT THE HALL OF FAME
If you are new to the league, or just haven’t looked before, I do maintain a Hall of Fame for our Fantasy Football League. There are seven different displays in the TFFL Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame can be viewed at dlamb15.com/HOF/index.asp. The web page is intended to look like a room. Click on each display or entry to visit that display.

ALL TIME FANTASY HALL OF FAME – Located in the back right of the room, The All Time Fantasy Hall of Fame celebrates the NFL players who had the best fantasy stats during their career. Only seasons in the Super Bowl era are included.

TAILGATERS FFL HALL OF FAME – Located in the back left of the room, this is probably the REAL Hall of Fame in this display. It includes the best owners and teams from the Tailgaters FFL. It also includes the best NFL players, but only includes seasons the TFFL played.

MILESTONE WINS – Located on the left side of the back wall, Milestones wins celebrate when each team achieved a milestone win. We are blessed to have a lot of owners with longevity in this league, and this display recognized their dedication to the league.

TRIPLE CROWN – Located on the right side of the back wall, this display honors the owners who have won all three of the leagues major awards. Those are the League Championship, Team of the Year and Player of the Year.

LEAGUE CHAMPION – Located on a pedestal in the center of the room, this display shows off our Vince Lombardi trophy, and honors the owners who have won league championships over the years.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Located on a pedestal in the left front of the room, this display shows off our Heisman Award and honors the owners who have had the best player from each season.

TEAM OF THE YEAR – Located on a pedestal in the right front of the oom, this display shows off our BCS crystal football trophy and honors the owners who scored the most points during the regular season.

FILLING GAPS
Before I do player inductions, it seems I didn’t just skip last year. It seems I’ve not kept up with some of the other plagues in the Hall of Fame. I think everything is updated now. Below is a list of new plagues added to the different displays

MILESTONES WINS has been updated to include the Flippin Birds 100 wins, Great Dismal Swamp Monsters 100 wins, Warriors 100 wins, Multiple Scoregasms 100 wins, Oky Ducks 150 wins (which was a total miss several years ago) and Rob Collins 200 wins.
TRIPPLE CROWN winners were also updated. Those include Rob Collins third Triple Crown, the most in the league and the Warriors second Triple Crown.
LEAGUE CHAMPIONS display was updated, and Mike King is not at the front of this display with four League Championships. Todd Hendrixson and David Stubenrauch were also updated to show their two championships.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR was updated to show off Rob Simpsons four POYs, the most in the league, and David Stubenrauchs two POYs.
TEAM OF THE YEAR was updated to show Mark Douyeres four TOYs, the most in the league, and Jeff Browns addition to the Team of the Year display.

Now for the NFL Player Inductions

TFFL NFL PLAYER INDUCTIONS

CLASS OF 2025

ANTONIO BROWN – Even as a Steeler fan, this one makes me kind of ill. This dude is one of the primary reasons I don’t really root as hard for the Steelers. No doubt, this guys was an amazing receiver, and for a few years in the 2010, was the man to have at the wideout position. But a total head case. But our HOF is based on stats, and Antonio Brown had them. He is honored as a member of the 2014 Milford Marauders, which was his best fantasy season.

JULIO JONES – If there was a player who rivaled, or even exceeded Browns values as a receiver in the 2010s, it was Julio Jones. Jones did most of his damage as an Atlanta Falcon, and had his best fantasy season in 2015 as a Destroyer.

CLASS OF 2026

MIKE EVANS – Very consistent, but not a lot of flash, Mike Evans was very reliable as a fantasy pick. He played most of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His best season was 2016 with Multiple Scoregasms

EMMITT SMITH – We jump in the way back machine for the last inductee. I can’t believe I’m calling the 90s way back. Emmitt Smith makes the TFFL HOF, despite having the early years of his career omitted because our humble little league had not formed. In 1998 Smith had his best season as a member of the Scammers.

ALL TIME FANTASY HOF PLAYER INDUCTIONS

CLASS OF 2025

TIM BROWN – Coming out of Notre Dame where he won a Heisman Trophy, Tim Brown lit up the NFL as a member of the Oakland Raiders.

FRANK GORE – Frank Gore was a steady, pounding running back with five Pro Bowl appearances. He played most of his career with the San Fransisco 49ers, before bouncing around multiple teams to close his career.

CLASS OF 2026

FRED BILETNIKOFF – Did I mention a way back machine earlier. This one predates my recollections of pro football. But Fred Biletnikoff is one of the referred names in NFL lore. He symbolized the Raider mystic in the early years, and is one of the leagues all time great players. He never had the honor of playing in the TFFL, but that doesn’t keep him out of our All Time HOF.

FRANCO HARRIS – The 2026 NFL Player inductions are down right nostalgic. Harris was the heart of the Steeler dynasty in the 70s. At the time of his retirement, I think he was the number two in NFL history for rushing yards. He played one season for Seattle, but that’s easy to forget about. Franco will always be known as a Steeler, and the man in the middle of the greatest play in NFL history.

Hope you enjoyed this article. Tomorrow should be inductions of TFFL Owners and Teams to the TFFL HOF.
