Following this email/article, you will each receive a separate email from your humble commish with your password. Use this password to sign into the draft pick page and make your selection. Follow the instructions on the DRAFT PICK SELECTION PAGE exactly, especially number four. Do that and we will all have a happy season. Deadline is Friday, August 28 at 5:00 PM. After that, I will arrange for someone to make your picks for you. I meant to add this to the web page, but didn’t get time. Here is a rundown of championships by draft pick. And you will see, almost everyone has a chance to win this year. Draft Pick 1 has won 1 championship. 1. See, not all that to be number 1. Draft Pick 2 has won 2 championships. I see a trend here. Draft Pick 3 has won just 1 championship. So much for the trend. Draft Pick 4 has won 4 championship. Whoooo Dey! Spoiler Alert, that is tied for the most. Draft Pick 5??? Holy cow, I didn’t realize until typing this. Draft pick five is missing from the list. No championships. Draft Picks 6, 7 and 8 all have 2 championships. Pretty normal stuff. Draft Picks 9 and 10 have four each. They tie number 4 for the most. Number 11 has 1 championship. So its on the board. Number 12. I knew this was hangin out there. Zero. So if you draft number 12, and maybe if you draft number 5, you get maybe ten minutes to complain about your draft positions. Pick your ten minutes wisely. HOW DO WE KNOW How do we know Scammer is not scamming us? Ya don’t. You have to trust me. But I will tell you my secrets. Draft positions are assigned by a spreadsheet. One column has the name of the helmet (heart, snowflake, cover, whatever). Second column has a random number field that when sorted sets the draft pick number from 1-12. The third column is another random number from 0 to 100 that sets the display sequence. Any helmet can end up representing any draft pick, and can be in any position on the screen. I don’t have the picks memorized, but because I have the ability to look it up, I get what ever is left over. That means I am dependent on all of you to make your picks so I can find out where I pick. The draft is just like when someone is throwing a party, I’m always the last to know. LAST WEEK FOR RULE CHANGE IDEAS I seriously doubt any of you think this is the perfect league. If that is the case, don’t be shy about proposing rule change ideas. Rule change ideas are due Sunday 8/30 by 5:00 PM. Voting will be the following week. If we have a rule change to vote on, Option A will be the existing rule, Option B will be the proposed change. A minimum of six owners must vote, as I will not impose a rule change with less than half the owners voting.
