Bane is your week 2 TOW, defeating Car Ramrod 122-94. James Cook was the MVP for Bane with 27 points. But he was followed closely with Marvin Harrison Jr and Kaimi Fairbairn who had 25 and 20 respectively. Fairbairn continues an early season trend of kickers having big days and changing outcomes. While Harrison enjoyed his first breakout day as a pro. Its quite the bounceback for Bain, who was knocked out of Survivor in week one with the lowest score.

Alvin Kamara won Player of the Week honors with his four touchdown performance this weekend. That resulted in 42 fantasy points for the running back, and let Error 404 to a 107-102 victory over Shakedown. It a rough start for Shakedown, who’s scored 102 points in each of the first two weeks, but is still 0-2. But all the great teams are 0-2 right now… see “Cincinnati Bengals” as a reference.

The best game of the week saw the Beercats defeat Momball 113-106. The Beercats were led by Joe Burrow, as this game mirrored the NFL matchup of Burrow vs Mahomes. But Burrow gets the better of things in the fantasy game. The Beercats are now 2-0.

Titans Kingless court is also 2-0, after they fried Kicken Chick 113-89. DeVon Achane had 24 for the Titans. They are now 2-0 and in first place in the Chuck Noll division.

Looky Looky who else is 2-0. Transformation Worldwide is 2-0 after a dismal season last year. They beat Happy 90-79 this week. One might accuse Transformation of a little smoke here, a few mirror there as they are only ninth in the league in scoring. But who cares, wins are wins, and that’s all that matters.

Of course it take a little nerve to throw around the smoke and mirror jabs when you are the lowest scoring winner on the league. The Scammers got a cheap 90-74 victory over Down the Drain. Not a single notable player from the Scammers. An underwhelming win to be sure.

SURVIVOR
You ever see a swirl in the ocean, that’s just Down the Drain getting booted off Survivor Island. Drain was the lowest scoring team in the lowest scoring team in the EW league this week. Last years Survivor champion will not repeat.

SCAMMERS SURGE
The Digital Scammers survived a storm surge and beat Florida SeaBreeze 118-110 for a hard fought victory. James Cook led all scorers in the game with 27. The Scammers are 2-0 and the top scoring team in the league through two weeks. It’s a tough loss for SeaBreeze who drop to 0-2 to open the season.

The Alvin Kamara bonanza was to the benefit of Rimski’s Raiders as they beat the Ohio State Buckeyes 107-72. Kamara’s 42 was bolstered by Patrick Mahomes 20. Both teams are 1-1.

The best game of the week was a good ole’ good one. The Cincinnati Eagles narrowly knocked off the Gritz Blitz Falcons 109-108. The Eagles got 109 points with only one player scoring twenty points, and that was his kicker Fairbairn. Seven Eagles scored in double digits in the game.

The Baloony Boiz are off to a hot start. Their 117-70 win over Steel City FooBall gets them to a 2-0 start, in first place in the Paul Brown division. Kyler Murray was the game MVP with 34. This is a great start to the season for the Boiz after last years struggles.

An old TipQA rivalry saw the Willow Run Flyers defeat the Old England Patriots 83-70. Not a lot of high scorers in this game, as Zay Flowers was the leading point getter with only 15 for the Flyers. These division rivals will see each other again later in the year.

And the last winner of the week was Prestige Worldwide over Grande Fantasmas 97-80. DeVon Achane and Lamar Jackson had 22 and 20 respectively for Presitge. Prestige is now 2-0 and in first place in the Lombardi division.

SURVIVOR
Did you know Steel does not float. Appears FooBalls don’t either. By a scant .2 points, Steel City FooBall is eliminated from Surviror.

GAME OF THE WEEK This early in the season, I’m obviously going to make the game of the week a matchup of 2-0 teams. I mean, there are still enough teams in both leagues that are 2-0 that surely two of them will square off in week three.

Nope! Not a single matchup of 2-0 teams in either league. Bah Humbug! But there is still a pretty good matchup. Actually, just a bit of bad luck keeps this from being two 2-0 teams. An it is a division battle to boot.

Titan’s King-less Court is 2-0. They are the top scoring team in the EW league. They sit atop the Chuck Noll division. They will host Momball, who enter the matchup 1-1. But that is only because the lost despite scoring 106 points. These teams are first and third in total scoring.

Momball has the big gun in this game. Patrick Mahomes hasn’t had a big scoring day yet. But you know it is out there. Derrick Henry is the workhorse in the backfield. The Titans counter with Anthony Richardson or Matthew Stafford at quarterback, with CeeDee Lamb flanked out wide.
