So there was a miscommunication between me and the nominating owner on one of the rule change ideas that kind of misrepresented the rule change and could have effected the outcome of the result. Because of this, I’m going to repost the rule change.
Issue 1: Set Draft Order From Previous Season
The rule change request in error was the set the Draft Order based on Previous Years Results. The miscommunication was this was not intended for this year’s draft as I presented it. It was meant to use the results of this season for next year. It is relevant, because as I observed the votes, I began to wonder if people were voting to improve their draft position this year. What I plan to do is repost the rule changes. I will keep the votes cast, but if you change your mind or want to clarify your vote, send me your vote again. If you need me to tell you how you voted I can.
I am not going to release the results of the first vote to avoid influencing. Two owners did not vote, they will be eligible to vote on the second pass.
PLEASE VOTE NOW whether you want to use this rule for the 2024 draft or not. If you voted and do not revote, you previous vote stands. Deadline is end of day Saturday before games start on Sunday.
Change Team Name If you Double Opponents Score
RESULT: NO wins 7-3. No team name changes for doubling opponents score.
This vote was actually very close with the YES option winning early on. Which I was stunned. I think the idea is a fun one, but ultimately did not expect people would want to give over their team name because of a bad result. Your identity is safe.
