But our Duck, the Oky Duck, avoided the butchers hatchet, or the Renegades hatchet by going out and winning Team of the Week. The Ducks won 143-91. Dak Prescott let the Ducks with 40. The Dolphins Defense scored 24… but that score should be discounted. It was against the Jets. The Ducks are rolling, winning four of five and seemingly putting up big numbers every week. I’d really like to dodge them in the playoffs. Player of the Week went to Josh Allen. That SOB plays for the dumbass Marauders. Allen had 42, and the Marauders dropped the Scammers 118-103. The Marauders are another hot team. They are 8-4, first place in the Halas division and now just a game back of the Scammers for the top seed in the playoffs. I don’t want to play them in the playoffs either. The best game of the week saw our newest Hall of Fame owner get seriously disrespected by our league’s newest owner. Lamar You Serious pulls out a 98-96 victory over the Warriors. No great games from Lamar You Serious, but six players in double digits will do the job. The win keeps Serious in the playoff conversation. Another good game saw Multiple Scoregasms just kick more dirt on the Flippin Birds, 95-90. Its been a struggle for Scoregasms since losing their quarterback midseason. They started Will Levis this week. Now this is a team… nope, not gonna say it. That a jinx if I ever said one. The Great Dismal Swamp Monsters are looking to march to a division title. They beat the Kentucky Moondogs 115-106 this week, and are in first place in the Lombardi division. CJ Stroud is the best rookie in football this year. He scored 24 for the Monsters. Isiah Pacheco added 20 mote. I Got Boom has climed to within a game of the Scammers for the Pual Brown division lead. They beat Dans Destroyers this week handily 98-66. Patrick Mahomes had a game best 24. The Destroyers drop to .500 and are near the playoff bubble. SECOND CHANCE SURVIVOR Taking a look at our four second chance sruvivors. The Swamp Monsters, Boom and Ducks all won. The Ducks beat the Renegades and were TOW. They are definitely safe. And the Monsters had 115. So they are safe too. So it is down to the Renegades and Boom Both teams were in the 90s. But Boom had the better game, 98-91. So Renegades are off Survivor Island again. PLAYOFF PICTURE If the season ended today, here would be the brackets. 1. Scammers v. 8 Multiple Scoregasms 4. You know that old saying if you have two quarterbacks you don’t have one. The Swamp Monsters are the exception that rule. The Monsters will have to choose between CJ Stroud and Jalen Hurts. Not bad options if you can get them. The Warriors are running out on the field Baker Mayfield and Jake Browning. This is where I refer to that cliché again.
