Other weeks I have more than I can use. Normally, I’d have made a reference to the defending league champion earning Team of the Week the first week. But when you had the day Multiple Scoregasms had, you have to work that into the story. Besides Ace Hole is as close as I can come to what you’d actually say to a friend in a family friendly article after what he did… Most of us would consider it a good weekend to win our fantasy game. A really good weekend to win Team of the Week. But rumor has it the picture in the inset is Mr. Hendrixson’s tee shot on the 190 yard par three number 17 at Lunken. I can’t really top that with anything I’m going to say here. But I will try. From a fantasy football perspective, Multiple Scoregasms led all teams with 105 points, beating the Oky Ducks 105-92. Must have been somebody’s lucky day, as Scoregasms has the Player of the Week too. The Dallas Cowboys defense scored a ridiculous 39 points. That’s a heck of a weekend Todd. Sincere congratulations from everyone in the league, except the other jealous golfers who’ve never had an ace. With TOW and POW out of the way, lets look at the game of the week. We actually had several good games. Three games decided by less than two points. But the best was the Destroyers defeat of the Renegades 72.2 – 71.4. The Destroyers used an old Buckeye connection with Justin Fields and Chris Olave leading the way. Christmas came early for the Scammers. Assuming defeat at the start of the night, the Scammer woke up to a 95-93.9 come from behind victory over iGot Boom. Stephon Diggs was the catalyst on Monday night, scoring 16 points to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. It’s a tough loss for Boom, how got 58 from Tyreek Hill and Patrick Mahomes, but not much else from the rest of the team. I got a notice from Loydd’s of London, the international insurance company, today. They are no longer insuring NFL players drafted by the Milford Marauders. I don’t know exactly when JK Dobbins went down, but you think if he hadn’t gotten injured he’d have gotten the Marauders a couple more points. That would have avoided the 99.1-97.2 loss the Great Dismal Swamp Monsters. It’s a good start for the Swamp Monsters, who were led by Brandon Aiyuk and Aaron Jones with 24 points each. Lamar You Serious was the only other team besides Scoregasms to reach the century mark. Serious posted a 100-76 victory over Flippin Birds. Austin Ekler was game MVP with 22. And the Kentucky Moondogs came out out of the box quickly. They beat the Warriors 84-61. SURVIVOR So long Warriors. You are the first team off Survivor Island. You can still get into the second chance pool with a couple TOWs, but first place is gone for good. VOTING RESULTS I just realized last night, I never announced voting results to the revote on setting draft order using previous season’s results. First, the vote did not change from the original vote. Three of you recast, but cast the exact same vote. The rest of the votes were carry over. The vote ended 5-5. So by rule, A – NO, use random draft order remains the rule. I won’t lie, it was much closer than I expected. And another example where on more vote could have made the difference.
